- Resolves an issue involving video distortion, that includes primary and secondary monitors swapping, video bit-rate changing to 16-bit color disabling Aero, and applications swapping positions from Primary to Secondary, or Secondary to Primary.
- Resolves an issue where the local flat panel (LFP) stays black when resuming from Standby mode if a monitor is disconnected while the notebook is in Standby mode.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
